Alphonse Areola could prove to be one of the bargains of the season in 2023/24. As the cheapest goalkeeper is 4.0 anyway, the Frenchman should be your second-choice option. However, after his superb showings in the Europa Conference League, there is talk Areola will replace Lukasz Fabianski as West Ham’s no.1. As a result, you could find yourself with a starting Premier League keeper for just 4.0m.
Alisson (5.5)
Alisson is the most expensive option on this list but he is also the most likely to be the highest-scoring. Liverpool had a rough 2022/23 season but the Brazilian was still only four points off being the top-scoring goalkeeper on FPL. So, if Liverpool continue their end-of-season form into 2023/24, we should see Alisson securing plenty of points.
