Southampton vs Leeds, Arsenal vs Leicester, Brighton vs Newcastle, Manchester City vs Bournemouth and Wolves vs Fulham then all take place at 3pm, before Brentford vs Manchester United rounds out the day’s action.
Sunday then sees Nottingham Forest host West Ham and London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham clash.
The gameweek is rounded out on Monday evening as Liverpool play host to Crystal Palace.

Water break
In cases you missed the news, Premier League matches will introduce water breaks this weekend to cope with the searing heatwave across England.

Manchester City destruction
It is easy to see why when you compare the club’s records against each other. Manchester City and Bournemouth have faced off 17 times. The Manchester outfit have won 15 of those games, drawing the remaining two.
Bournemouth have also not scored more than one goal against Manchester City since May 1989 when the pair were playing in League Division Two.
London rivals
The big game of the weekend comes on Sunday when Chelsea welcome London rivals Tottenham to Stamford Bridge.
The tie always has some extra tension to it due to the club’s rivalry, but this game is also a big test for both managers.
Of all the teams in the Premier League, it is likely to be Tottenham or Chelsea who can break out from the pack to challenge Liverpool and Manchester City.
As a result, the winner of this game is probably the most likely to do so. This match could also have implications for later in the season when the race for a Champions League place heats up.

Can Nottingham Forest work together?
Nottingham Forest have already signed 12 players this summer and that number looks set to take a bump up to 14 in the very near future.
With so many new players on their books, though, it was questioned if Forest would be able to gel as a squad whilst fighting off relegation.

All eyes on Ten Hag
One of the main talking points coming out of gameweek 1 surrounded Manchester United.
Erik ten Hag’s competitive debut as United boss saw him guide the Red Devils to their first ever loss vs Brighton at Old Trafford.
