Ajax director of football Sven Mislintat has, on Thursday, provided an insight into the future of a chief transfer target at both Arsenal and Chelsea.
The player in question? Mohammed Kudus.
For those not familiar with his name, Kudus is a versatile Ghanaian international, capable of lining out in a whole host of roles between midfield and attack.
The 22-year-old is fresh off a stellar campaign at The Johan Cruyff Arena, which, despite Ajax’s struggles as a collective, saw Kudus rack up a head-turning 18 goals and seven assists in 42 appearances across all competitions.

In turn, it has not come as a major surprise to hear of interest in the signature of the one-time Nordsjælland talent beginning to mount.
The last week alone has seen both Arsenal and Chelsea tipped as potential landing spots for Kudus, with the latter understood to have gone as far as to make contact with their counterparts at Ajax over a summer deal.
And Mislintat, formerly of Arsenal, was not shy in admitting that, though the ideal scenario would involve the pair remaining in Amsterdam, discussions are ongoing with both the players and their respective representatives, over potential summer transfers.
