Al-Nassr cruised to a 3-0 victory over Al-Fayha in a dominant performance at home. Cristiano Ronaldo found the net alongside a brace from new boy Jhon Duran.
The game started with Al-Nassr asserting early dominance, controlling possession and pressing Al-Fayha’s defence. Duran was the main attacking threat, forcing an early save in the 18th minute with a low strike from outside the box.
The breakthrough came in the 22nd minute when Duran found space in the centre of the box and slotted a left-footed shot into the bottom right corner, putting Al-Nassr ahead.
Al-Fayha struggled to respond, with their best chance of the half coming in the 32nd minute when Fashon Sakala’s effort sailed over the bar.
Ronaldo was lively throughout the half, coming close in the 31st minute after being set up by Sadio Mane, but his shot missed the target.
Al-Nassr went into the break leading 1-0, with their control of the game largely unchallenged.

The second half followed a similar pattern, with Al-Nassr dictating play and creating numerous opportunities. Al-Fayha’s defence was under constant pressure, and Duran doubled the hosts’ lead in the 72nd minute, converting from close range after a delightful cross from Mane.
Just two minutes later, Ronaldo got his goal, finishing a swift counter-attack with a right-footed shot into the bottom left corner.
The Portuguese star had earlier missed a couple of chances, including a wayward header in the 70th minute, but he eventually made his mark, sealing the win at 3-0.
Al-Fayha’s frustration boiled over in stoppage time when goalkeeper Orlando Mosquera was sent off for handling the ball outside the box in the 97th minute, reducing them to ten men and capping off a miserable night for the visitors.
