The financial details of Leeds United’s loan agreement for Juventus star Weston McKennie have come to the fore late on Saturday evening.
The week, to date, has of course seen the name of United States international McKennie take its place front and centre in the English media headlines.
This comes after the 24-year-old was identified as a leading target to reinforce the club’s engine room ranks on the part of the powers that be at Premier League outfit Leeds United.
Already boasting the talents of one American standout in the form of Tyler Adams, it is understood that Jesse Marsch has earmarked fellow countryman McKennie as the final missing piece from his midfield puzzle in west Yorkshire.
Negotiations, in turn, have long been kicked into gear between the respective boards at Leeds and Juventus.

And now, late on Saturday, it appears as though a breakthrough has been found.
This comes after the Bianconeri agreed to a loan deal for the remainder of the term, totalling €1.2 million.
This, in turn, will be followed by a €33 million option to buy, expected to become mandatory under certain conditions.
With McKennie having already agreed to an alleged five-year contract with Leeds, the transfer is therefore viewed as imminent.
