Premier League giants Manchester United have, on Friday evening, announced a long-awaited addition to the club’s midfield ranks.
The latest player to have put pen to paper on terms with Erik ten Hag’s side? Sofyan Amrabat.
The name of Moroccan international Amrabat, of course, has long taken its place front and centre in the headlines on the red half of Manchester.
This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that the Fiorentina star had been placed atop the transfer wishlist of the powers that be at Old Trafford.
Amrabat himself, in turn, made clear his desire to seal a move to the Premier League, sitting out training and matchdays alike in Florence.
It will therefore no doubt come as a source of relief for player, club, and fans alike, to hear that, late on Friday, United have at long last gotten their man.
‘Sofyan Amrabat has joined Manchester United on loan from ACF Fiorentina until June 2024, subject to international clearance and registration requirements.’
