Manchester United play host to Tottenham on Wednesday evening in a league outing.
Tottenham have lost just one league match this campaign and have the joint-best defence in the division.
They also finished above Manchester United last season. However, they did not fare so well against the Red Devils last season.
Spurs are due back at Old Trafford on Wednesday for the first time since Portuguese superstar Ronaldo recorded a stunning hat-trick against them in March.
Ronaldo has scored eight Premier League goals against Spurs (including six in his last three) – against no side does he have more in the competition.
And now, ahead of the next outing, Conte has stated that it was Ronaldo, not United, who beat the Lilywhites last season:
“We lost 3-2, but we lost to him, not to United last season. I remember that very well, because we played a very good game.”
