Right wing-back remains a real area of concern for Tottenham and even more so after Emerson Royal’s performance against Arsenal.
The Brazilian was shown a red card for a reckless challenge on Gabriel Martinelli which ultimately put the game out of reach for Spurs.
Another disappointing display from Emerson has left Tottenham fans questioning who should now be starting in the RWB spot.
Matt Doherty and Djed Spence are both options, however, Antonio Conte’s latest comments suggest that neither are likely to start any time soon.

Speaking ahead of Spurs’ trip to Frankfurt, the Italian coach was brutally honest about Matt Doherty’s chances of starting games.
Conte believes that Doherty is yet to show that he is ready to be in the line-up.
“Now, I’m not seeing him in the right way to start the game.
“I’m not stupid, I don’t want to lose.”
The 54-year-old has also suggested that Djed Spence will not be starting anytime soon either.
Fans have been calling for him to start, but Conte has urged them to trust his decision not to select him.
Conte added: “The fans have to be fans.
“The fans are the fans, I understand they can think everything but I see every day what happens during the training session.
“I try to do the best for the team. If they trust me, then they trust me, but the choices are mine.
“If I didn’t decide to pick one player it’s maybe because he’s not ready.
“We are talking about a young player with a good prospect, but I repeat I try to pick the best team.”
