Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has, on Friday evening, provided an update on the fitness of star winger Antony.
Concern surrounding the wellbeing of Brazilian international Antony, of course, has been front and centre on the red half of Manchester over the course of the last week.
This comes after the former Ajax standout was forced into a premature departure from United’s Premier League meeting with Chelsea last Thursday.
After a heavy-but-clean challenge on the part of Trevoh Chalobah left him grounded and in evident pain, Antony was ultimately stretchered from the Old Trafford pitch, in a flood of tears:

Post-match, concern therefore swiftly shifted towards Antony’s status for this weekend’s FA Cup final.
United, of course, are set to lock horns with arch rivals Man City on Saturday afternoon, hopeful of making it a domestic cup double for the season.
And the Dutch tactician went on to reveal that, though he maintains a ‘small chance’ of featuring, Antony is ‘unlikely’ to be available for selection at Wembley:
Ten Hag reveals Antony has a ‘small chance’ of making the @EmiratesFACup final. ‘Unlikely. He didn’t make progress, so he still has a chance but unlikely he is available.’#MUFC
