Premier League giants Arsenal have, late on Friday, announced a 2nd deadline day departure from the club’s first-team ranks.
With their summer spending now understood to be complete, the powers that be on the red half of north London are now hard at work, trimming the excess fat from Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Early this morning, one such exit was made official, Nuno Tavares taking his talents to Nottingham Forest on loan for the season ahead.
The deal is understood to feature an option to buy next summer, for a fee in the region of £12 million.
Best of luck on your season-long loan, Nuno 💪

And, as alluded to above, just hours on, a 2nd Gunners star has also moved on.
The player in question? Arthur Okonkwo.
And, on Friday evening, precisely that has been confirmed:
‘Arthur Okonkwo has joined League Two side, Wrexham on a season-long loan,’ Arsenal have announced.
Good luck with Wrexham this season, Arthur 🧤

The Emirates outgoings are not done there, though, with Rob Holding and Sambi Lokonga too expected to join Crystal Palace and Luton Town respectively, ahead of tonight’s fast-approaching deadline.
