Premier League giants Arsenal have, on Friday, been afforded a boost on the personnel front, courtesy of a key member of the club’s first-team setup committing his long-term future to the club.
The player in question? Gabriel Magalhaes.
In a series of posts across the Gunners’ social media platforms a short time ago, word was forthcoming of Brazilian stopper Gabriel putting pen to paper on a new long-term contract.
The terms of the deal, it is understood, run through the summer of 2027, putting to bed any lingering speculation surrounding his future in north London, on the back of summer links with Italian powerhouse Juventus.

Speaking to Arsenal’s official website, Gabriel, who has seen out every minute of the club’s rampant Premier League campaign to date, opened up on his pride at extending his stay in England’s capital.
In fact, the former LOSC Lille standout went as far as to label this the ‘best day of my life’:
“Every game the supporters are pushing the team in the stadium. It’s why I’m so happy to stay here. Arsenal is my home.
Gabriel concluded:
“In the future, I want to win games for Arsenal, I want to win trophies with Arsenal and stay here for a long time because it’s my home.”
