Arsenal will play their first game of pre-season on Thursday.
The Gunners have a friendly against Nurnberg later this week before they kick off their tour of the United States with a game against the MLS All-Stars on July 19. The All-Stars will be coached by current DC United boss Wayne Rooney.
Arsenal will then travel to New York where they will play Manchester United. The Gunners then head to Los Angeles where they will take on Barcelona at SoFi Stadium, the home of owner Stan Kroenke’s LA Rams. Their final warm-up game comes at home against AS Monaco in the Emirates Cup.
However, Arsenal have already lost a player to injury before playing a game.
Arsenal will be without Albert Sambi Lokonga for their pre-season training camp in Germany after the midfielder confirmed a muscle injury will keep him at home:
“Due to a muscular injury, I’ll sadly not be part of the summer camp with the team in Germany,” he posted on Instagram.
