Supporters of Premier League giants Arsenal have taken to social media in numbers on Sunday evening, to take aim at arch rivals Tottenham, and talisman Harry Kane.
This, of course, comes after Mikel Arteta’s troops kicked their 2023/24 campaign into gear with a bang.
The Gunners marked their return to action a short time ago, making the trip to Wembley for a Community Shield showdown with Manchester City.
And, when all was said and done, it was the underdogs who emerged on the right side of the result.
After Cole Palmer put City in front courtesy of a gorgeous bending finish a little over ten minutes from time, Arsenal levelled things up at the very death, upon Leandro Trossard’s low strike deflecting beyond the helpless Stefan Ortega:

From here, proceedings headed to a penalty shootout, with Arteta’s Gunners having held their nerve, on their way to lifting the first major piece of silverware of the English season:

This comes by way of a statistic quickly making its way across social media, surrounding the respective trophy cabinets of Harry Kane, and Gunners summer signing Declan Rice:
