Supporters of Premier League giants Arsenal have taken to social media in numbers on Saturday evening, to send a message to head coach Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners, of course, were back in action this afternoon.
Fresh off a shaky stretch of form which culminated in back-to-back defeats at the hands of Manchester City and Everton, Arteta and co. welcomed capital rivals Brentford to the Emirates, eyeing a much-needed return to winning ways.
When all was said and done, however, once more, Arsenal’s efforts came up short.
After substitute Leandro Trossard’s opener midway through the 2nd-half was cancelled out by Ivan Toney a short time later, the hosts were forced to settle for an underwhelming share of the spoils.
The last three goals Arsenal have conceded in the Premier League have all come from headers:

⚽️ Tarkowski
⚽️ ToneyNone of the 15 they had conceded before hand had been headed goals. 😅 pic.twitter.com/Hq2KMMTkPa

On the back of an outing which could ultimately prove hugely costly in the club’s pursuit of glory in the Premier League, it should therefore come as little surprise to hear that many of an Arsenal persuasion were not shy in making their frustrations known post-match on Saturday.
With the likes of William Saliba, Gabriel Martinelli and Eddie Nketiah underperforming, the Gunners’ headmaster has been urged to make better use of his squad, with just some of the highlights from Twitter showcased below:
We should play around with our front three lineup more, opposition teams can prepare easily against us because they can predict our starting 11 before the match starts

Maybe a bit too predictable at the moment. Same line up most weeks, teams are getting savvy to us. Arteta needs to start mixing it up a little bit. Trossard deserves to start now, and maybe try switching Martinelli up front. Nketiah looking quite limited in the last game or two.

Arteta has got to shake things up, and bench some first-team players if need be. The team has become easily predictable! Double up on Saka & Martinelli and there’s no Plan B.

It seems teams are figuring out Arsenal
Basically double up on Saka and Martinelli and keep it compact. Then take your chances on set pieces.— essang essang (@essangessang) February 11, 2023
#Arsenal fans, it’s time for a change! Arteta needs to shake up the starting 11 for the big match against City. Here’s my pick for the best lineup to secure a win 💪🔥 #COYG #EPL #ArsenalvsCity @Gunnersc0m pic.twitter.com/lDFZ20iigU

Ups & downs in a season. Arteta should absolutely change the lineup for City match.

There is a reason this team is where it is till now. Arteta and the players take the credit for it. But now, some players are not playing well. Arteta needs to change and try stg different. It’s a long season. Teams are catching up on how we play.We need a some tactical changes. pic.twitter.com/auIBUzl1BB

Arteta should be bold and ready to start making changes to the first team squad lest we find ourselves in the same scenario as last season where he insisted on playing Lacazette upfront even when the latter produced nothing. Rotate fast! pic.twitter.com/pNFgzK91FN

Arteta needs to learn to rotate his players, can’t be having the. Same players starting all 38 league matches
