RC Strasbourg head coach Patrick Vieira, on Sunday, spoken out over the latest efforts of Chelsea loanee Angelo Gabriel.

For those not familiar with his name, attacker Gabriel made the move to west London this past summer, after being snapped up from his home country of Brazil for a fee in the region of £13 million.

Still just 18 years of age, though, the decision was soon made that the highly-regarded starlet was not yet ready to make his mark in the Premier League.

Gabriel, in turn, was farmed out on loan for the season ahead, linking up with Ligue 1 outfit RC Strasbourg.

The Brazilian youth international, since, has gone on to notch appearances in all but one of his new side’s five league fixtures.

The latest, meanwhile, came on Sunday, when Gabriel was afforded a starting berth on the right wing, in a meeting with Montpellier.

And the former Arsenal midfielder, first, made use of the opportunity to praise Gabriel:

“Angelo brought us technical quality in relation to his quality with his feet.”

From here, though, Vieira was also sure to highlight some of the key areas in which he feels the Chelsea talent can improve:

“He also needs to make better choices. On the defensive level, he must feel more concerned.”
