Horrific news surrounding the wellbeing of on-loan Arsenal star Pablo Mari has surfaced online on Thursday evening.

This comes amid widespread reports that the Spaniard has been rushed to hospital in Italy.

Stopper Mari, of course, was farmed out on loan once more this past summer, linking up with AC Monza after spending the 2nd half of last season in Serie A with Udinese.

And he has since gone on to play an integral role in Lombardy, featuring from the off in eight of Monza’s eleven league outings.

As alluded to above, though, late on Thursday, the subject of football has taken a firm back seat at the Brianteo Stadium.

Instead, focus has shifted very much towards wishes and prayers for Mari’s safety and wellbeing.

Mari, it is understood, was not ‘seriously hurt’.

Two of the others targeted, though, are in a serious condition in hospital, according to reports.
