The latest Brazilian national team squad has, on Friday, been unveiled online.
This comes, for those not aware, as the Selecao prepare to kick their qualifying campaign for the 2026 World Cup into gear.
First, on September 9th, Brazil are set to play host to Bolivia, before making the trip to Peru to round out their endeavours for the international break four days later.
Interim head coach Fernando Diniz, in turn, was this week tasked with naming his first 23-man squad.
And, as alluded to above, late on Friday evening, as much was made official across the Selecao’s social media platforms.
A host of recognisable names, as expected, take their place centre stage, with the likes of Alisson, Ederson, Richarlison, Neymar and Vinicius Jr all included.
Two notable exclusions, on the other hand, come by way of La Liga champions Barcelona.
First up, Raphinha, dismissed in Barca’s opening fixture of the season last weekend, is nowhere to be seen, with summer addition Vitor Roque also left out by boss Diniz.
