Four noteworthy names have been left off Premier League giants Arsenal’s squad bound for a pre-season tour of the United States of America, ahead of predicted departures from The Emirates over the coming weeks.
Mikel Arteta’s side, of course, are currently in the process of stepping up preparations for the new campaign.
After falling short in their pursuit of Premier League glory in agonizing fashion last time out, the Gunners will be hopeful of going one better this time round, to dethrone Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City as English football’s finest.
A trio of high-profile enforcements are primed to aid in this mission, too, after the powers that be in north London clinched impressive deals for all of Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber, and, most recently, Declan Rice.

What of those, though, still on Arsenal’s books, but set to play no part in England’s capital in 20223/24?
Well, as alluded to above, on Sunday, an insight into the crop of players destined for such a fate has been forthcoming.
And nowhere to be seen were all of transfer-linked quartet Nicolas Pepe, Sambi Lokonga, Cedric Soares, and Nuno Tavares.
Thomas Partey and Emile Smith Rowe are missing from the squad list, too, albeit with both expected to fly out to join their teammates stateside at some point next week.
Reiss Nelson, meanwhile, will remain in north London, amid his ongoing bid to return to full fitness.
