Predicted XI

Team News

Arsenal come into their return to the Champions League with the overall same landscape when it comes to the senior setup under beloved manager Mikel Arteta as the Gunners host Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven at the Emirates.

The Gunners will remain without the services of summer signing Jurriën Timber who is out for the season, while Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny are also alongside the Dutchman in treatment for the foreseeable future.

Brazilin ace Gabriel Martinelli was subbed off in the win over Everton on Sunday, which likely means one of Leandro Trossard or Reiss Nelson should take his place, with Trossard likely preferred after his match-winner over the Toffees. Questions surrounding whether Aaron Ramsdale comes back into the side or if Arteta persists with David Raya in the wake of his debut clean sheet also remain, while a toss-up between one of Kai Havertz and Fábio Vieira also gives the Spaniard options in midweek.
