The latest social media activity on the part of Brighton & Hove Albion star Moises Caicedo has, late on Sunday, piqued attentions across the Arsenal fanbase.

Mikel Arteta’s troops, of course, were back in action a short time ago.

After seeing their advantage atop the Premier League table cut to just two points on Saturday, the Gunners made the trip across London, for a derby showdown with Marco Silva’s Fulham.

And, when all was said and done at Craven Cottage, Arsenal showcased their title credentials once more, en route to a stellar 3-0 romp.

January arrival Leandro Trossard proved the star of the show for the day’s visitors, racking up a trio of assists in laying on goals for all of Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard.

As alluded to above, though, post-match, it is another Brighton star to have been hotly tipped for an Emirates switch during the winter transfer window who has instead found himself front and centre in the headlines in north London.

Midfield talent Caicedo was of course the subject of a failed mid-season pursuit on the part of the powers that be at Arsenal, who saw several big-money offers for the Ecuadorian knocked back by their counterparts at Brighton.

On Sunday, though, the 21-year-old dropped a major hint that his affinity for the Gunners remains intact.

Taking to Instagram on the back of the evening’s action coming to a close at Craven Cottage, Caicedo ‘liked’ Arsenal’s celebratory post-match release, as showcased in the image below:
