Arsenal starlet Folarin Balogun has, on Monday, secured for himself a noteworthy individual accolade.

Hitman Balogun, of course, secured a fresh departure from the Emirates during the summer transfer window.

Despite a largely productive loan spell in the Championship with Middlesbrough over the 2nd half of last season, Mikel Arteta and co. evidently came to the conclusion that the England youth international was not yet ready to contribute on a weekly basis back in north London.

Balogun, in turn, was farmed out once more, on this occasion linking up with Ligue 1 outfit Stade de Reims.

And what a start to life he has since gone on to enjoy in France.

To this point, Arsenal’s up-and-coming striker has taken to the pitch on six occasions in Reims’ colours (four starts).

In turn, it shouldn’t come as a major surprise to hear of the 21-year-old, on Monday, being rewarded for his early-season efforts.

As confirmed in an official statement across the division’s social media platforms this evening, Balogun has secured the prize for Ligue 1 Uber Eats Young Player of the Month for August:
