Spanish giants Barcelona have, on Saturday evening, been dealt an alarming blow on the personnel front.
Barca, for those not aware, are currently locked in action, in a La Liga clash with Celta Vigo.
Fresh off back-to-back 5-0 victories, Xavi Hernandez’s troops welcomed Celta to the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, eyeing a 6th successive triumph.
As things stand, though, the Blaugrana, instead, are headed towards a shock defeat.
This comes with the evening’s visitors in possession of a 1-0 lead, courtesy of Jorgen Strand Larsen’s finish inside the 20-minute mark.

And yet, as alluded to above, the current scoreline in Catalunya marks just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Barcelona’s concerns on Saturday.
With a little over half an hour on the clock, Frenkie de Jong pulled up in evident pain, with what appeared to be a muscular problem.
It soon, in turn, became clear that the Dutch international was in no condition to continue, with Xavi having been forced to throw Gavi into the fray as a result.
It now remains to be seen, ahead of a crucial stretch of the campaign, whether De Jong is facing up to an incoming spell on the sidelines.
