Supporters of Spanish giants Barcelona have flooded to social media on Saturday evening, to send a collective message to the club’s board regarding the talents of Real Sociedad star Martin Zubimendi.
For those not aware, Barca marked their return to action a short time ago.
Fresh off securing the club’s latest La Liga title last weekend, Xavi Hernandez’s troops welcomed the aforementioned Real to the Camp Nou, eyeing a 4th victory on the spin.
When all was said and done, however, the Blaugrana were ultimately condemned to defeat.
This came as goals on the part of Mikel Merino and Alexander Sorloth proved enough to guide the evening’s visitors to the right side of a 2-1 scoreline.

Post-match, in turn, it has come as little surprise to see the always-critical Barcelona faithful take to social media, to make their frustrations known.
After boss Xavi Hernandez openly hailed the talents of Martin Zubimendi just 24 hours ago, such supporters have called for the powers that be in Catalunya’s capital to launch a move for the Real Sociedad standout, evidently impressed by his showing against their side on Saturday:
