Spanish giants Barcelona have, on Saturday, been afforded some altogether timely positive news on the injury front.
The subject of personnel woes, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital across the last 48 hours.
This comes after the Blaugrana were dealt not one, but two blows, ahead of the 2nd leg of their Europa League knockout round tie with Manchester United.
After Pedri was first hauled off owing to a muscular injury, midfield partner in crime Gavi was later ruled out of Barca’s trip to Old Trafford, too, by way of suspension.
Safe to say, then, that Xavi Hernandez faces something of a dilemma in manning his side’s engine room in Manchester next week.

It will therefore come as a timely boost for all associated with the club to hear that, this weekend, Barca’s midfield options have been rejuvenated.
The Spanish international, who has spent the last two weeks on the sidelines with an ankle injury suffered against Sevilla, will therefore be expected to feature from the off against Manchester United.
