La Liga table-toppers Barcelona have been afforded a trio of boosts on the personnel front, ahead of the club’s upcoming showdown with Atletico Madrid.
Barca, of course, were back in action earlier this evening.
Amid ongoing efforts to reclaim the Spanish top-flight title from arch rivals Real Madrid, the Blaugrana made the trip to the Estadio Coliseum Alfonso Pérez, for a meeting with Getafe.
When all was said and done, however, a disappointing showing ultimately culminated in Xavi Hernandez’s troops being forced to settle for a share of the spoils.

In defence of Barcelona, their two dropped points did come with a number of the club’s star performers still unavailable for selection owing to injury.
Absent once more against Getafe were the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Frenkie de Jong, Andreas Christensen and Pedri.
As per journalist Javi Miguel of Diario AS, both Frenkie de Jong and Pedri are in line to feature next Sunday, when Barca welcome Atletico Madrid to the Camp Nou.
Not only that, but Atleti will be down a key performer, too, after Marcos Llorente picked up a suspension for his fifth La Liga yellow card of the season earlier tonight.
Frenkie de Jong and Pedri are expected to be available for the match against Atlético Madrid.
