Two key members of Barcelona’s squad are set to sit out the club’s weekend meeting with Real Sociedad, it has been revealed.
The players in question? Pedri and Ronald Araujo.
Fresh off wrestling La Liga supremacy back from arch rivals Real Madrid, the Blaugrana will play host to the aforementioned Sociedad, keen to further extend their hefty 14-point advantage at the division’s summit.
Speaking to the media on Friday evening, Xavi Hernandez was therefore drawn on the stars set to be at his disposal at the Camp Nou.

And Barca’s boss went on to reveal that both Pedri and Araujo have been ruled out.
The former is suffering from discomfort in his right thigh, whilst stopper Araujo has also picked up an unspecified knock in his right leg.
This, though, comes after the Spanish international picked up a suspension, owing to his latest booking in last weekend’s derby downing of Espanyol.
No Araujo or Pedri for Barcelona tomorrow vs. Real Sociedad. Both have minor knocks. Gavi suspended. LaLiga trophy to be delivered after the game at Camp Nou
