The latest social media activity on the part of Spanish giants Barcelona has piqued attentions across social media on Saturday evening.
This comes owing to a frankly bizarre post unveiled and subsequently deleted from the club’s official Twitter account.
The post in question came on the back of Barca’s La Liga meeting with Real Betis.
Xavi Hernandez’s troops marked their return to action a short time ago, ultimately romping to a 5-0 rout courtesy of goals on the part of all of Joao Felix, Robert Lewandowski, Ferran Torres, Raphinha, and Joao Cancelo.

On the back of proceedings coming to a close at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, the Blaugrana’s social media team, in turn, have since been hard at work, posting celebratory messages and graphics across the club’s Twitter, Instagram and more.
And, as alluded to above, one such post has since garnered widespread attention, albeit for all the wrong reasons.
