Spanish giants Barcelona are on the verge of closing a deal for a key member of the midfield setup at Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to reports.
The player in question? Ruben Neves.
It is of course common knowledge that, ahead of the summer transfer window, the powers that be at Barcelona have set their sights firmly on reinforcements at the base of the club’s midfield.
This comes as Xavi Hernandez and co. prepare to bid farewell to veteran engine room presence Sergio Busquets.

A whole host of potential replacements, in turn, have been touted in the media of late, from Oriol Romeu to Martin Zubimendi.
As alluded to above, though, if the latest word doing the rounds on Saturday night is anything to go by, then the Blaugrana, in fact, appear to have turned their attentions elsewhere.
A ‘total agreement’ is said to be in place between the respective boards at the Camp Nou and Molineux, over the terms of a €30 million transfer.
Not only that, but Wolves could make use of the open channel of communication between the clubs in an effort to lure Barca talent Ansu Fati to the English Midlands.
❗️Barcelona have reached a total agreement with Wolves for the transfer of Ruben Neves for €30m. Ansu Fati could also be included in the deal.
