Barcelona have announced the signing of RB Leipzig forward Dani Olmo.
The Spaniard has signed a six-year deal at the Camp Nou and posted a farewell to the German side before being officially announced by the LaLiga giants.
Olmo impressed for Spain during their Euro 2024 triumph and has consequently earned a spot at one of Europe’s biggest clubs.
He was the joint-top scorer for Luis de la Fuente’s champions and will cost Barca £51million.
The club released a statement after unveiling the 26-year-old, saying: “Wherever he plays, Olmo stands out for his individual talent and his ability to link up with his team-mates.
“He has a nose for goal as he showed in Euro 2024 and can score from inside and outside the penalty area.”

The player added: “I’m very happy, it’s a dream come true, I’m going home with the family and with my teammates. I want to start, I am very proud that Barça have made this effort, that they love me.
“I have already played with many Barça players. There is a lot of quality here, I want to play with players like Lewandowski, I am ready to contribute.”
During his time at Leipzig, Olmo won two German Cups and put in a number of dazzling performances against the likes of Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen.
He made sure to pen an emotional farewell online, posting: “A young club, a young player.
“We grew up, won our first trophies and made history together.
“Thank you RB Leipzig, you’ll forever be in my heart.”
