Bayern Munich director Hasan Salihamidzic has, on Sunday, spoken out over suggestions that the German giants could soon mount a swoop for Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane.
The Bundesliga champions, of course, are widely expected to seek out reinforcements at centre-forward ahead of next season.
This comes with those in a position of power at the Allianz Arena, despite the stellar goalscoring stretch being enjoyed by Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting over the early months of the campaign, evidently of the opinion that the hole left by Robert Lewandowski’s departure is yet to be sufficiently filled.
Kane, widely recognised as one of world football’s best centre-forwards, has therefore been tipped as one potential arrival in Bavaria.
Also named as inclusions on Bayern’s list, meanwhile, have been the likes of Dusan Vlahovic, Lautaro Martinez, and Jonathan David.

Speaking to the media on Sunday evening, though, as alluded to above, it was the name of Tottenham’s talisman which was put to Bayern Munich chief Hasan Salihamidzic.
After first insisting that it would be unfair to Spurs to discuss the subject, Salihamidzic went on to label Kane ‘one of the best strikers in the world’:
