Bayern Munich have suspended attacker Sadio Mane with immediate effect following his bust-up with teammate Leroy Sane in the wake of their 3-0 Champions League defeat to Manchester City on Tuesday night.
The Senegal star will also have to pay a fine, while the pair were forced to apologise in front of the entire squad for the altercation.

Former Manchester City attacker Sané was spotted with a bleeding lip in the aftermath of the defeat in Manchester, with both players having to be separated in the dressing room just after the final whistle at the Etihad Stadium.
Both players were spotted on the pitch arguing in the final minutes before full-time, with tensions clearly boiling over once in more private quarters. Mané was reportedly picked up privately when Bayern left the ground, while Sané departed on the team bus with his fellow Bayern stars.
It is unclear how long Mane will be sidelined for, though he will certainly miss the upcoming clash with Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga as the German giants look to win yet another Bundesliga title, where they currently lead 2nd place Borussia Dortmund by two points with nine games left to play.
Mane joined the Bavarian giants from Liverpool last summer in a deal worth around £30m, but has struggled with his new club with just six goals and four assists in his 20 Bundesliga outings to date.
