Brighton & Hove Albion have, on Sunday, been dealt a potentially costly blow on the personnel front.
Roberto De Zerbi’s troops, of course, were back in action earlier today.
After putting the Reds to the sword in dominant fashion in the Premier League two weeks ago, Brighton faced off with Liverpool once more, on this occasion in the FA Cup.
And, when all was said and done on England’s south coast, the Seagulls, yet again, defied the odds, en route to sending Jurgen Klopp and co. packing from English football’s most prestigious cup competition.

On an otherwise stellar afternoon’s work for Brighton on Sunday, though, as alluded to above, one sour note was too forthcoming, on the injury front.
This came upon starring young centre-forward Evan Ferguson being forced into a late departure from the action.
I genuinely think this may be the worst VAR decision that I’ve seen.
It’s horrendous that the referee has got that one wrong in real time, but the fact that VAR haven’t overturned that is frightening.
Fabinho knows it too.

Ferguson, in turn, was spotted leaving the Amex Stadium on crutches, with his wellbeing having therefore been put to Roberto De Zerbi during his post-match press conference.
Brighton’s boss, though, was unable to provide any sort of telling insight into the situation, simply admitting the extent of the 18-year-old’s problem will be ascertained over the coming days:
Brighton manager Roberto Di Zebri says they will see in the next few days if Evan Ferguson’s injury is an “important injury”
