Several members of the first-team setup at Premier League giants Manchester United have taken to social media on Friday evening, to unveil messages of support for youngster Kobbie Mainoo.
For those who may have missed it, youngster Mainoo set alarm bells ringing on the red half of Manchester earlier this week.
This came upon the 18-year-old, fresh off his 2nd successive pre-season start, being forced to limp out of the Red Devils’ meeting with Real Madrid.
Just minutes into proceedings at NRG Stadium, Mainoo went to ground, owing to an unfortunate incident involving Casemiro and Rodrygo.
Unable to continue, the midfield prodigy was subsequently hauled off, to be replaced by Christian Eriksen.
Panic truly began to set in, however, upon post-match footage coming to the fore, showcasing Mainoo departing NRG Stadium on crutches:

In a post on his official Instagram account, Mainoo wrote:
‘I’ll be back stronger and in no time. Thanks for your messages of support’
And, as alluded to above, in the aftermath of Mainoo unveiling the latest on his fitness, several members of Erik ten Hag’s first-team squad have moved to send messages of support to their up-and-coming teammate.
Alejandro Garnacho, for one, commented:
‘Soon back bro, you are the best’, accompanied by a heart emoji.
Even more noteworthy, though, was club captain Bruno Fernandes giving his backing to Mainoo, writing:
‘I’m waiting you on the pitch soon’
