Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes was, on Thursday evening, drawn on the already infamous interview held by teammate and compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo last week.
Veteran hitman Ronaldo, of course, set the internet ablaze this past weekend.
This came owing to a remarkable attack on all of his club, manager, former teammates and more.
Evidently cut to his core by his being reduced to the role of an impact substitute across the bulk of the campaign to date, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner tore into the culture and setup on the red half of Manchester as a whole.
Many, in turn, have since spoken out against Ronaldo, taking aim at the former Juventus and Real Madrid man for a show of complete disrespect for those who pay his wages.
One member of the personnel setup at Old Trafford to have already opened up on the impact made by his teammate’s comments comes in the form of Raphael Varane, with the French international having not been shy in admitting that:
And now, as alluded to above, another member of Erik ten Hag’s first-team setup has followed suit in responding to Ronaldo’s rant.
Speaking after playing a starring role en route to a brace in Portugal’s 4-0 demolition of Nigeria, Bruno Fernandes was drawn on his teammate’s recent actions.
This comes after footage surfaced earlier in the week of a frosty exchange between the pair in the Portuguese dressing room:

Fernandes himself, though, has tonight put to bed any lingering concerns regarding his relationship with Ronaldo.
The midfield creator, first, revealed that he in fact refrained from reading his compatriot’s controversial comments.
From here, Fernandes then went on to assure that he bares absolutely no ill will towards Ronaldo, before too providing an insight into the aforementioned greeting between the pair:
🗣️ “I didn’t read the interview so I’m ok with that”
