Arsenal are currently locked in Premier League action with Brentford.
The Gunners headed into the game looking to bounce back from their last league game, which saw them beaten 3-1 by Manchester United.
And despite being without Martin Odegaard and Oleksandr Zinchenko for the match, Arsenal are currently leading the Bees.
William Saliba opened the scoring for the north Londoners, heading in from a Bukayo Saka corner.
Gabriel Jesus added a second goal shortly after, heading in from a superb Granit Xhaka cross from deep.
Following Saliba’s goal, an impressive Bukayo Saka stat has come to light.
Saka overtook Nicolas Anelka (35) with his assist on Sunday and is now only behind Cesc Fabregas (63).
Given Saka is now 21 years of age – his birthday is September 5th – it seems unlikely he will be able to break the record held by Fabregas, but with just under a year before he turns 22, the winger could come close to matching the Spaniard.
Elsewhere, William Saliba has now scored as many Premier League goals this season as Liverpool winger and last season’s Golden Boot winner, Mohamed Salah.
