Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has, late on Friday, provided updates on the wellbeing of two high-profile members of his squad.
Los Blancos, of course, are primed to return to action this weekend.
On the back of the prolonged World Cup break in Spain, the La Liga champions will kick the defence of their title back into gear in a meeting with Real Valladolid on Saturday night.
As things stand, Real sit 2nd in the table in Spain’s top-flight, two points adrift of Clasico rivals Barcelona.
And their hopes of closing the gap on Barca tomorrow night are set to be boosted by the return to full fitness of two attacking stars.
First up comes Karim Benzema.
Los Merengues’ boss, though, has assured that Benzema ‘feels perfectly’, and is therefore ready to feature from the off against Valladolid:

Also raring to go, meanwhile, will be forgotten man Eden Hazard.
After handing the former Chelsea standout just a solitary La Liga start thus far in 2022/23, Ancelotti has assured that Hazard is now ready for more regular game time, potentially beginning this weekend:
🎙| Ancelotti: “Hazard is fine, he has trained well. I see him better than before the World Cup. He’s done a good job and I’m going to use him more in this part of the season.”
