Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has, on Sunday night, provided his response to the headline-catching antics of Blancos attacker Marco Asensio.
For those not aware, the out-of-favour Asensio saw his name take centre stage on the back of Real’s La Liga meeting with RCD Mallorca earlier this afternoon.
This, however, did not come owing to his contribution on the pitch.
Instead, en route to the Spanish table-toppers’ 5th win from five to open the campaign, the 26-year-old was confined to the bench once more.
Having seen his efforts to seal a move away from the Bernabeu fall short over the summer, Asensio, in turn, was not shy in making his frustrations known.
Upon Carlo Ancelotti opting to introduce Dani Carvajal as his final substitute of the afternoon, Asensio completely lost his cool, throwing his training attire to the ground, kicking a water bottle, before returning to the bench and tossing his jersey once more.
Real’s boss, though, proved typically collected in his response, explaining:
“Asensio’s anger for not playing? I agree with him, so I’ll keep it in mind”
