Scottish heavyweights Celtic have, on Sunday, closed an agreement with the club’s no.1 managerial target.
The subject of the bench at Celtic Park, of course, has been cast back into the spotlight in a major way over the course of the last few weeks.
This comes after beloved tactician Ange Postecoglou came to the decision to bring a close to his trophy-laden stint in Glasgow, moving south of the border to link up with Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur.

The powers that be at Celtic, fresh off a domestic treble, were therefore forced to seek out fresh blood in the dugout.
As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then it hasn’t taken the Bhoys at all long to find precisely that.
As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, amongst others, Brendan Rodgers has ‘agreed terms’ to take his managerial talents back to Parkhead.
In turn, negotiations between the parties quickly bore fruit, ahead of an official announcement at some point over the week ahead.
