Borussia Monchengladbach director Roland Virkus has, on Sunday evening, confirmed that an in-demand member of the club’s attacking ranks is in line for an imminent departure.
The player in question? Marcus Thuram.
The future of wide-man Thuram, of course, has long taken its place front and centre in the headlines across the European media.
This comes with the French international having been added to the summer wishlists of a host of heavyweights from across the continent, ahead of the expiration of his terms with Monchengladbach come the close of the campaign.
To this point, the likes of Chelsea, Barcelona, Manchester United, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich have all been tipped as potential landing spots for Thuram with a view to next season.

And, as alluded to above, late on Sunday, any and all suitors of the World Cup star have been afforded a boost.
Speaking to Sport1, as cited by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Virkus explained:
“We have to accept that there are bigger clubs where Marcus might go”
