Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Roberto De Zerbi has, on Friday, dropped a fresh hint over the future of in-demand midfielder Moises Caicedo.
The name of Ecuadorian international Caicedo, of course, has taken its place centre stage in the headlines across the English media once more over the course of the last 24 hours.
This comes after word was forthcoming that Chelsea had tabled yet another proposal for the gifted 21-year-old.
As confirmed by a whole host of sources, the Blues submitted to Brighton their 4th Caicedo offer of the summer, amounting to a hefty £80 million.
The powers that be at the Amex Stadium, however, continued to stand firm, knocking the bid back without so much as a 2nd thought.

Speaking to the media on Friday, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his side’s midfield dynamo was put to Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi.
“If Caicedo leaves, we need another big important midfielder,” De Zerbi explained to Sky Sports.
“Yes, I have a specific player in mind to replace him, but I don’t want to tell you his name.”
