The transfer team at Premier League giants Chelsea are inching towards an agreement for yet another addition to the club’s playing ranks, according to reports.
The subject of the ongoing transfer efforts of the powers that be at Stamford Bridge have of course long taken their place front and centre in the headlines across the continent.
This comes after new owner Todd Boehly bankrolled another historic outlay during the January transfer window, to the tune of an alleged £323 million.
Such spending secured the services of a host of high-profile names, including Mykhailo Mudryk, Enzo Fernandez, Benoit Badiashile and Joao Felix.

As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from the media on Thursday is anything to go by, then Chelsea appear far from ready to rest on their laurels.
This comes as the Blues ‘close on’ an agreement for yet another addition.
As per a report from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Blues brass have identified Ecuadorian talent Paez as a potential star in the making.
In turn, negotiations have been kicked into gear between those in charge of transfer dealings at Stamford Bridge, and their counterparts at Ecuadorian outfit Independiente del Valle.
Such talks come with a view to Paez making the move to England in 2024, upon the passing of his 18th birthday.
