Supporters of Premier League giants Chelsea have taken to social media in numbers on Friday evening, to make clear their frustrations with manager Mauricio Pochettino.

This comes owing to a fresh round of comments on the part of the Argentine regarding Ben Chilwell.

For those not aware, the name of full-back Chilwell has taken its place front and centre in the chatter in west London across the early months of the new season.

This comes amid widespread dissatisfaction with the performance level of the England international.

Chilwell, surprisingly has been made use of on the left wing by new boss Pochettino, a role which the Chelsea faithful have made clear they no not feel is suited to his abilities.

Speaking to the media on Friday, the Blues’ boss was therefore drawn on the attack-minded berth afforded to the full-back across his Stamford Bridge stint to date.

‘All the coaching staff feel disappointed when you lose players to injury, of course it affects the team, but we need to accept it and adapt,’ the Argentine began.

‘We need to find solutions with different players playing in different positions to try to get the best balance. Ben is a full-back who can help the team in a different position.

‘In four games he has created more chances than any player. In the national team last week Ben played in a similar position.’

Safe to say, though, that Poch’s comments have since not gone down at all well amongst fans of his side.

As alluded to above, the Chelsea faithful have responded to their manager in absolute numbers on Friday evening, leaving little to the imagination when it comes to their feelings on Chilwell’s new position:
