Chelsea’s supporters have taken to social media in numbers on Sunday evening, to heap praise on two members of the club’s squad.
Mauricio Pochettino’s troops, of course, marked their return to action earlier this afternoon.
Desperate for a bounce-back result on the back of an underwhelming opening to the campaign, Chelsea made the trip to the Vitality Stadium, for a Premier League meeting with Bournemouth.
When all was said and done, though, once more, the Blues’ host of big-money stars failed to deliver the goods.
Owing to another disappointing showing, Pochettino and co. were forced to settle for a share of the spoils, in a goalless stalemate.
It’s 0-0 vs Bournemouth and Chelsea remain with six wins in all competitions in 2023. 🔵 #CFC

On the back of proceedings coming to a close on Sunday, it should therefore come as little surprise to hear of the Chelsea faithful being absolutely up in arms.
As alluded to above, though, alongside such backlash has also been praise, for two players widely regarded as Chelsea’s standout performers at the Vitality.
Those in question? Robert Sanchez, and Lesley Ugochukwu.
Labelled the only pair deserving of ‘lifting their heads high’, check out the best of the Twitter highlights below:

Sanchez and Ugochukwu for MOTM
— Sosmacy_design (@Sosmacy) September 17, 2023
Ugochukwu and Sanchez were the only standout performers. Every other person needs to be dropped if possible.

Sanchez superb. Ugochukwu mature.
Aside from that… well. Thiago Silva slow on the ball. Gusto weak and terrible deliveries. Jackson pathetic.
The less said about Mudryk the better at this point.
This squad is sapping the joy out of football, game after game.
Bloody hell.

Ugochukwu and Sanchez are the only positive in this match.

Robert Sanchez was exceptional today. Ugochukwu was very solid and looks a good signing. The rest of them should hang their heads in shame

The only ones who can lift their heads high are Sanchez and Ugochukwu! The rest can fuck off!! #BOUCHE
