A series of updates on the goalkeeper situation at Premier League giants Chelsea have come to the fore on Saturday evening.
The subject of ongoings between the posts, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the headlines in west London across the day to date.
This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that Kepa Arrizabalaga is all set for a move away from Chelsea.
On the back of Thibaut Courtois’ serious knee injury, Kepa is primed to link up with Real Madrid on loan for the season ahead.

With Edouard Mendy having already departed Stamford Bridge for the Middle East this summer, though, what, then, does that mean for the goalkeeping ranks in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad?
Well, as alluded to above, late on Saturday, an insight into precisely that has been provided.
The player brought in, however, will likely only act as backup, to summer recruit and new Chelsea no.1 Robert Sanchez.
Finally, it is added that, despite heavy links over the course of the last few hours, former Leicester City standout Kasper Schmeichel, now of OGC Nice, is ‘not under consideration’ by the Blues’ brass.
Chelsea will move for another goalkeeper with Kepa moving to Real Madrid on loan.
Robert Sanchez very much the No.1 now this season. Also understand Kasper Schmeichel is not under consideration.🧤 pic.twitter.com/YTsjkdB5Dx
