A fresh insight into the future of in-demand Chelsea star Mason Mount has, on Friday, been forthcoming online.
The subject of Mount’s situation, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the headlines in west London across much of the season to date.
This comes as the powers that be at Stamford Bridge have continued working tirelessly towards tying the English international down for the long-term.
After a contract renewal agreement was at one point viewed as a near formality between the two parties, negotiations have since dragged on in concerning fashion, culminating in suggestions that, should he not commit to fresh terms soon, Mount will likely be on the move in the summer.
Links to a number of direct Premier League rivals, in turn, have followed, with Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool understood to be keeping a particularly close eye on the situation of the 24-year-old.

If the latest word stemming from the media on Friday is anything to go by, though, then the Chelsea hierarchy, evidently, have not yet given up hope of thrashing out an agreement with the club’s Cobham academy product.
‘Chelsea are expected to make a final push to convince Mason Mount to sign a new contract.’
In the case that common ground cannot be found on the midfielder’s alleged demands of terms in the region of £250,000-a-week, though, ‘the midfielder is set to leave the club this summer’.
