Hudson-Odoi is a product of Chelsea’s youth academy and has featured over 100 times for the club despite only being 21 years of age.

There was a time a few years back when the young winger was also one of the hottest prospects in world football, garnering a lot of attention from German champions, Bayern Munich.

However, Hudson-Odoi signed a new contract to put an end to that speculation. Since the Bayern transfer saga, though, Hudson-Odoi has seen very little action.

He featured 15 times in the Premier League for Chelsea last term, but completed 90 minutes on just three occasions.

The 21-year-old was also left out of Chelsea’s matchday squad for their opening game of 2022/23 despite the five-sub rule now being in place.

This has led to speculation over the winger’s future, with another German side, Borussia Dortmund, believed to be showing an interest.

“Nah. I don’t like seeing that! Callum being treated like Tammy.

“Kid bust a gut working through pre season to be fit again from injury. Freezing him out ain’t a good look. Nope! Not happy TT [Thomas Tuchel]!”

Tammy Abraham was sold to AS Roma lasts summer after being frozen out by Thomas Tuchel despite ending 2020/21 as Chelsea’s top goalscorer in all competitions.

Abraham has since taken the Serie A by storm, setting club records with Roma and winning the first ever Europa Conference League under Jose Mourinho.
