Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo dedicated his goal in the 4-2 win over Tottenham to his newborn son.
The Reds responded to a tough few weeks with an entertaining win over Ange Postecoglou’s side in what was Jurgen Klopp’s penultimate game at Anfield.

Goals from Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, Harvey Elliott and Gakpo put the home side 4-0 up before consolations from Richarlison and Heung-Min Son made things a bit tense towards the end of the game.
Gakpo took his goal well in the second half, rising high and beating Cristian Romero in the air to flick a header into the bottom corner from Elliott’s cross.
It marked his seventh Premier League strike of the season, matching his total from last season.
The Dutchman looked dangerous all afternoon on Merseyside and was delighted with his and the team’s performance after the match.

He said: “It was a disappointing few weeks where the results were not what we wanted. We could have scored more. It was a good day.
“Everyone wanted to do their best in the last few weeks but it didn’t work. We wanted to enjoy it, play for goals, defend together and it was a good result.
“It was a good result and a good header. I’m very happy, very blessed. That was one for my son.
“Everybody is aware of the situation [with Klopp leaving]. We wanted to show it for the fans but also for the manager and that’s what we did today.”
Liverpool’s win takes them back within five points of league leaders Arsenal, but are relying on a miracle to win the title now.
Gakpo and the Reds travel to Aston Villa next before seeing out their season at home to Wolves.
Klopp will be hoping to win his final two matches as Liverpool manager and he will be encouraged with what he saw today.
