Cristiano Ronaldo has, on Thursday, provided a fresh insight into his future beyond the summer.
The subject of Ronaldo’s plans, of course, has taken its place centre stage in the media headlines for some time now.
This comes amid long-standing suggestions that the iconic attacker, just months on from taking his talents to Saudi Arabia, has become disillusioned with life at Al-Nassr.
Beaten to the ROSHN Saudi League title by Al-Ittihad this week, Al-Nassr’s campaign, after promising so much, ultimately fizzled out into major disappointment.
Ronaldo, in turn, has been tipped to secure a swift return to Europe, with big-money Newcastle United one potential destination frequently highlighted by sources in the media.

Speaking to the media on Thursday evening, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his future in Saudi Arabia was put to the five-time Ballon d’Or winner himself.
Cristiano Ronaldo announces he’s not leaving Al Nassr despite Newcastle links: “I am happy here — I want to continue here and I will continue here”. 🚨🟡🇸🇦
