Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 12th and 13th Saudi Pro League goals of the season as Al Nassr saw off the challenge of 10 men Al Khaleej 3-1 this afternoon.

The visitors laboured following the 34th minute sending off of Saeed Al Hamsal until a lovely move saw Al Nassr take the lead midway through the second half. Angelo weaved his way into the area from the right before flicking the ball back for Ronaldo to fire into the bottom left-hand corner.

It was the 918th career goal of his incredible career.

Greek international Konstantinos Fortounis equalised from the penalty spot with 10 minutes to go but Stefano Pioli’s men responded almost immediately through Sultan Al Ghannam.

Ronaldo added a late third with a tap into an empty net.

The win moves Al Nassr up a place to third in the table.
