Croatia star Andrej Kramaric has, on Sunday evening, taken firm aim at Canadian national team head coach John Herdman.
This comes on the back of the showdown between the two countries earlier today.
Kramaric, of course, took centre stage at the Khalifa International Stadium this afternoon, as Croatia took a significant step towards qualification for the knockout rounds of the World Cup.
After clinching a point courtesy of a stalemate with Morocco on opening day, Zlatko Dalic’s men went one better this time round, in putting Canada to the sword in dominant fashion, by four goals to one.
Hitman Kramaric, for his part, notched a brace, to take home the Man of the Match award in Al Rayyan.
Goal! 🇭🇷

And, as alluded to above, post-match, the Hoffenheim standout made use of the opportunity to aim a less than subtle dig at Canada’s head coach.
‘They belong here, and we’re gonna go and ‘F’ Croatia, it’s as simple as it gets,’ the tactician exclaimed.
And, evidently, at least some of Croatia’s stars took such words to heart, with Kramaric, speaking to the media on Sunday evening, having fired back at Herdman with the following statement of his own:
“I want to thank the Canada coach for the motivation. In the end, Croatia demonstrated who F’d whom.”
